Jazz Brossard

Mr. Frédéric Soucy, President of Cogir Management Corporation, GP, and Mr. Yves Duguay, Vice President, Operations, Private Retirement Homes Division, came together on Wednesday, September 26 for the official groundbreaking of Jazz Brossard. “This major construction project marks a renewal for the Jazz private retirement home brand. We are entering a new phase by continuing to push our residences to the next level. The complex’s ambiance, common spaces and activity programs will respond to the new demands of the market. We are investing over $105 million in this residence of nearly 400 seniors’ apartments that offers breathtaking views of Montreal, access to the REM, and a trove of innovative services,” said Mr. Frédéric Soucy.

“By building new living spaces for seniors, we are meeting the needs of people who want to fully enjoy life in the comfort and safety of a reinvented residence where they will have access to a range of services and activities that will make every day a memorable one. We are putting the best of ourselves in this venture, and our goal is to make a big difference,” said Mr. Yves Duguay, Vice President, Operations, Private Retirement Homes Division. Spearheaded by Cogir Real Estate, Jazz Brossard is scheduled to open in summer 2020. Over 60 new jobs will be created, and nearly 125 people will have worked at the site during the construction.

Jazz Brossard residents will enjoy turnkey comfort at this one-of-a-kind project. In addition to enjoying functional and contemporary living spaces with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, residents can access dining rooms, a bistro, a sports bar, a swimming pool, an urban garden, an electric car-sharing service, a mail room, an art room, a package delivery room designed for today’s online shopping reality, a professional kitchen space, a gym, many relaxation areas, a lounge with a reading and work space, indoor parking spaces as well as any assistance with daily living that they may need. Jazz Brossard will add that extra touch of pizzazz to the lives of today’s and tomorrow’s seniors.
